Here is the most generic statement regarding weight loss, to lose weight you must burn more calories than you eat. It is that simple. The process to get there… Not so much. Like anything in life worth having, you must put in the work. Move with purpose. Make sure that you wake up and have at least one goal for the day. Make each conversation and action you carry out meaningful. Learn from your surroundings and adapt to the environment. Your worst enemy in this weight loss journey will be looking right back at you in the mirror every morning as you decide whether to head to the gym or head out for your run.

If you want to see change, you must make a change. Instead of adding bacon into your breakfast, add an apple. When you are at work, take the stairs. Don’t let a cheat day turn into a cheat week. Once you can control your health and exercise regimen, the rest of your life will start to fall into place. You will wake up energized and that newfound energy and life will spread to all aspects of your life and those you surround yourself with will receive and appreciate the best version of you.
